  13. Subject: Can't find tex.pool in web2c-6.1

  15. I'm attempting a TeX installation on a SUN Sparc 10 running SunOS 4.1.3_U1,
  16. using the current CTAN (shsu) distribution of
  17. tex-archive/systems/web2c/lib.tar , web.tar, and web2c.tar.

  19. Make run-triptrap fails.  Many errors, but the significant one, also found
  20. in Make formats, is 'cant read tex.pool or mf.pool'.  I posted to the
  21. discussion group for more information, but received no responses.  
  22. I'd appreciate any help, as I've been a TeX user for 10 years, but haven't
  23. installed it recently.

  25. Is tex.pool included in the distribution or created in the Make?  Its not
  26. in the distribution.
